Saughall Methodist Church

We are the Methodist Church in Saughall, sited on Church Road. (Our drive is opposite the doctors' surgery.) The Methodist Church is part of the mainstream British Churches and has recently signed a national covenant to work more closely with the Church of England.

Our church in Saughall is primarily a worshipping community, meeting for an hour each Sunday morning at 10.45 am.  We use a variety of forms of worship, including our own songs and a more 'hands-on' style, as well as traditional hymns etc.  Worship is usually followed by a cup of tea or coffee in the hall. There is a regular service of Holy Communion, usually on the first or second Sunday of the month.

The church community has a monthly prayer meeting, and occasional series' of bible studies, particularly during the season of Lent. There is a fortnightly social 'Coffee and Chat' in the hall on the second and fourth Wednesdays, from 10.30 am. till 11.30 am, and on the fifth Wednesday of the month it includes a 'Bring and Buy' to raise money for needy causes.

New friends are always welcome to join us for worship or any of our other activities. We are a friendly and caring Christian community, seeking to put our faith into action in all kinds of ways, and by offering a warm welcome to all.
