The Orb and the Cross (the logo shown above) is a symbol of the Methodist Church. It shows the cross at the heart of the world, embracing with the love that was revealed in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It also reflects the message of John and Charles Wesley - "For all, for all my saviour died."

"After many years of soul-searching about the future of our buildings, we are thrilled that plans for a new multi-purpose building are in the final stages of approval.
We hope that work will begin in 2012. First our old church will be demolished and a new one built, with a worship area and community hall linked by folding doors (when folded back we will have one larger room). While the new building is being erected, all our activities - Sunday worship and midweek groups - will be squashed into our existing hall. Once the new building is up, the existing hall will be demolished, and replaced by car parking.
This scheme shows our commitment to sharing the Good News of Jesus in Saughall and the area in the future.
